There is no 6000GT. You're either talking about the 6600GT or the 6800GT, which one? It's probably the 6600GT seing as how you own one.

In either case, I would start to become concerned if temps started to hit the 80°C range.

wait 80 load or idle??
come on guys its like 5 seconds to punch the numbers in and tell me..
what should i idle in and load?
what are my concenquences?

My specs are in the sig, 6600GT!

50C Idle is ok. 80C Load is not out of this world, but you should try to keep it a bit cooler. Just a few degrees lower.

I used to have my 6800nu idled at 50, stressed at 58. But then I got silent craze and since then turned off a most of my case fans but one at the back, now I'm getting 66 idle and 74 stressed.

I hope it didn't shorten the lifespan too much, don't wanna go back to noisy land.

For every 18 degrees ferenheit (I think) a chips potential life halves. He halved his chips life by going silent :D.

Damn, now I only got 15 years left.. :p

/shrug, running a 6800 with the NVSilencer5, I get idle at 39, and load of 53 or so, and it's quieter, that was good enough for me!
