Safe vcore question for e6400

First question I've asked, I just hope I'm putting it in the right forum. :eek:

I've managed to get my e6400 up to 3.6, however to do so required setting the vcore to 1.5 in the bios, although SpeedFan reads it as 1.48 at idle and 1.46 under load.

What I'm wondering is if it's safe to continue to run my processor at those voltages whilst on air cooling. Temps under load are about 55-57C. Normal usage for the computer would be 7 hours on average to a maximum of 9 hours a day.
 
Well I know a few users have their C2Ds at or over 1.45 for several months now, and it seems like the consensus is don't go to 1.5 unless you're on water, but with my motherboard voltages stay below by .02, which doesn't seem like alot, but I'm still curious.

Come June I'll be replacing this chip with an e6850, so it's not going to be ran at that voltage for much longer, but it'll be passed down to a friend who'll run it at stock and I just don't want to totally fry it.
