I know it's not really a case or case mod question, but in a way it is.
After building my computer using a NZXT Zero case, which is huge, I can't put it under my desk as I bump into it a lot.

I put it sideways on my desk right next to my LCD and it is as close to my head as the monitor.

To relate it to cases and case mods, I assume some people put their modded cases on their desks. (I know, I know, lame attempt.)

Is it safe (for me I mean... and I guess computer too)

as long as it doesnt fall down it will be fine. i used to have mine on my desk then i got a new monitor and it wouldnt fit. so dont knock it down and it will be fine.

Thanks so much for that Captain Obvious. ;)

Yeah dude, it should be just fine. I have my WC'd Stacker sitting on a folding table(a nice one though) and it's upwards of 50+lbs(easy) along with my other computer and desk stuff except for my subwoofer.

It's actually better for a computer to sit on a desk because it won't suck up quite as much dust as quickly as it would being on the floor.(Captain Obvious too? lol)

Just make sure you have a sturdy cable and the computer is sitting on all four feet and you'll be just fine.
