Safe to overclock?

Would it be safe to overclock a 2500+ with idle temps of around 35-37 and load about 45-48? It has stock thermal paste right now though so I think I will wait till i get my AS5.
 
How high do you think I could go on a 9200 with stock heatsink+fan? With ATItool the furthest ive gone (testing) is 267.75 before i got scared :D
