Hi. I just recently overclocked my system and everything seems to be going well except the memory (which I believe is running at normal speeds).

My ram's (2x1gb) stock specs are DDR3 1600, cas Latency: 7, Timing 7-7-7-18, voltage 1.8v.
It's Dram Freq is 800 mhz.

Running at these specs prime95 fails the large fft test almost instantly, I tried 8-8-8-24 and still no improvement. I then tried increasing the memory voltage to 1.85 and had much improvement, currently the worker threads will run for ~2-over 10 minutes until they fail. (note, before my overclock the memory ran just fine at 650 mhz @ 1.5v)

I ran memtest86 once, however not for long and still intend on running that however my question is do you guys think it is safe to increase the voltage to 1.9?

edit:
I looked online some more and found others that had done much higher voltages. I ended up doing it, and with stock timings prime95 ran for 1.3 hours without any errors (at which point I stopped the test). This thread doesn't seem like it would be very helpful to others so if a mod wants to go ahead and delete it I won't mind.

1.5V is the "official" voltage, but it looks like more of them sit around 1.8V, and some people run at over 2V...so concur with the changes you made being necessary.

You should try running Prime & Memtest for longer than just an hour. Overnight would be best.
