Apple has released Safari 3.0.1 for Windows. The updated version supposedly fixes the handful of flaws that were found just hours after the public beta was released.

The updated version patches CVE-2007-3186, a command-injection vulnerability that may lead to arbitrary code execution; CVE-2007-3185, an out-of-bounds memory read issue that may lead to an unexpected application termination or arbitrary code execution; and CVE-2007-2391, a race condition that may allow cross-site scripting.

Hey Mac, Hey PC.
MAC: why you so blue PC?
PC: Well I tried this Safari browser and now I keep crashing.
MAC: Well if you were a Mac and used our browser you wouldn’t have this problem.
PC: What browse do you use Mac?
Mac: Firefox…

What's funny is when you go to the download page for the browser item # 12 under Why You'll Love Safari states:

Apple engineers designed Safari to be secure from day one.
But they had to hurry up and release a new beta to fix security holes.:p

Technically not released yet. Still a beta, remember. This is day -1.

I just wanted to test it out...who knows...could have been the new best thing...I've since given up on it though.

I downloaded it and uninstalled it due to the bugs. The interface is hideous but i'll probably install it again for testing in the future so I don't need to go to my Mac. Maybe i should install Camino because i don't like Safari on the Mac either.

Mac users are lucky now that they can run Windows and use IE7 ! Just skip over Safari and Leopard. That should solve all their problems.

Well Microsoft would never release a Beta that had so many bugs! And most certainly not a final release! For shame,For shame on Apple.
