i'm wanting to overclock my 3200 venice and dont really like the stock cooler for the application :) what would be my very best bet for $35 or less. i wanna drop my temps as much as possible

There are a lot of nice coolers on the forums for right in that price range, if you don't mind used.

35 bucks can get you a ninja without fan.....at xoxide

15 bucks can get you the heatpipe version of the stock AMD 64 cooler on ebay.

the heatpipe cooler from an x2 and a decent fan will net you great results for your budget
ebay for the cooler
where ever for the fan

You definitely want the stock copper heatpipe heatsink. A venice doesnt produce much heat anyways. I use one right now on my venice @ 2.6ghz. 34C idle 42-44C load. Dont waste your money, pick up the stock one.

a lot of people are saying great things about the AC Freezer 64 Pro. The original Freezer 64 got good reviews and the 64 Pro is getting even better as it added another heatpipe and bit better fan setup. here is a link to it at the egg

i haven't had a chance to give one a proper thrashing but when installing them in systems here at the store they seem to be quite quiet as well. lots of the previous suggestions are good too about the stock heatpipe setups.
