s939 HSF Interchangeable with s754 HSF

Hi guys I am wondering if a stock s939 venice HSF can be used on a stock s754 mounting bracket?
I am not sure if they use the same mount because I am planning to put the stock s939 HSF on the 754 board, and move my copper one on my 754 to the 939 since the 939 system will be my main one.

I believe that they are in fact interchangeable.

yea - since most aftermarket fans don't differentiate btwn 754 and 939 in compatibility, i'm assuming it would work.

edit: look at first listing here - looks like the same bracket for both sockets...

Yes.. there are a select few early S754 boards that used the SA(462) mounting setup or hybrid of both, but 99% of S754's are the same mounting setup as S939..
