s939 heatsink compatibility

Can the heatsink that comes with the Opteron 165 be used on s754 mobos? I got my buddy to buy that sempron\mobo deal and I was going to send him my heatsink, but not sure if it's going to work. Anyone know? It's that nice heatsink with the copper heatpipes.

I'm fairly certain 754 and 939 share a retention module, so it should fit fine

EVERY s754,s939,s940 HSF will interchange with each other....

that too has 4 heatpipes, or the two heatpipes go out and come back again giving an appearance of 4.

Yes the other guys pic is of a first run FX class HSF, the new FX and opteron HSF's are much nicer and cool like a XP-90 you can do a simple mod to the stock fan on your Heatsink and make it run much faster, then use speedfan to adjust the RPM's

Oh tight... I actually like this stock heatsink better than the zalman 9500. I dunno why, but it just seems cooler to me. I wanna lap it... lap it good.
