So, some benchmarks of S3's latest attempt at a graphics card showed up (finally) and the results are better than what I thought they would be. :eek: But S3 is still behind (about 2 generations behind) and their "high end" graphics processor can keep up with the lower end GeForce FX series of cards pretty well.

It might not be a powerhouse, but with such low power requirements and heat output, it would be perfect for an HTPC or Car PC (or laptop).
 
heh, I figured this would get more of a response. This is the first time S3 has produced an anywhere near a competitive card in a long (long) time afterall.
