Using s-video out to a tv does this always mirror or can it ever be used as an extra monitor?

You can use it as an extra monitor, but its really isnt worth it. I did that on my Geforce 4 graphic card on my old computer, and it was ok. Picture basically sucked, and if you try running games on that, it will lag like no other. But yes you can use S-Video as an extra monitor, at least I was on my Geforce 4.
