Hey Folks, Question for ya?

Can I hook up my xbox 360 to my pc through toslink and have it output to computer speaker system in 5.1?

I have windows 7 installed on my pc, using onboard Realtek ALC889A codec on my motherboard (it has an spdif in header), and my speakers are the logitech x-540 connected through analog.
 
no responses? ah poop.. lol

anyways, i did a bit more google searching. it doesn't look i can set my pc to act as a 5.1 receiver as i was hoping. if anyone else has anything else to add though, feel free :)

or if i'm 100% correct in my assumption, close the thead.
