I just bought an antec true430 to power the following devices:
20. 40. 160. 200gig WDs, burner. cdrom, 9800pro, floppy, and an array of fans that ive wired to run of one power connector.

The problem is the antec only comes with 5 normal atx power connectors. Are there readily available converters to go from s-ata to a normal power connection?

And on a side note, is the 430 enough for this system running those devices with an axp1700 slightly overclocked?
 
That's the same PS I have in my rig, and it runs fine. Good luck finding any SATA-PATA power adaptors, though. There probably isn't much of a market for something like that. This might just be the excuse you need to swap out some of those smaller PATA drives for a couple 36 Gig Raptors! ;)
 
Yea ive done some looking around and it doesnt look like there are any adaptors for what i want. So now I need to find a canadian store selling the black 4pin molex connectors because i looks like ill have to mod the lines myself. Any suggestions on a store like that? Preferably an electronics store that will sell them for cheap and not a modding store with a 500% markup...

get some Ys at your local computer store, and 430 should do you just fine. (also Antec didn't add the SATA plugs at the expense of any molex connectors, so they aren't loosing you any plugs relative to the PSU's made before SATA) also I was just looking at my manual that came with my 480, and I count 7 molex connectors and the manual is the same for all the TP line so I think you should have 7. (might be wrong on that count though)
