I finally got my system up. Typing on it now!
I had the most frustrating 2 weeks in this build!
I had 2 CPUs both 1700x sent 1 back.
2 Motherboards-
BioStar x370 GT7 and an ASUS x370 Prime.

Symptoms for both is a no post no video situation.

Tried 2 different CPU's, 2 Power Supplies, Two Video cards, Both on box out of case.
Reset Both BIOS on Biostar and the BIOS on the ASUS

NOTHING worked.
Only thing in common is the DDR4 EVO Potenza I got for 80 dollars from the Egg 4 weeks ago in anticipation.
Big Mistake!

I purchased the Kingston Fury Memory and Bang it works.
Updated the BIOS on the Prime to 504 yet the EVO Potenza still fails.
I sent the Biostar board back so I cannot confirm this on that board!:mad:

Yep. Still trying to find the right ram. Big deal on these systems. Would have been the first thing I told you to change.

My Tomahawk B350 didn't post either. I had to clear CMOS not once but TWICE. Then it came up. I had pulled modules out, put them in other slots, etc.. That didn't help it took clearing CMOS.

I am finding that clearing the BIOS when the RAM training goes wrong is very common.
 
Corsair LPX 16 gb 2666 D.O.C.P 1.28V boots right up, wondering if it'll boot with 4x dualrank 2666mhz 16gb dimms, I ain't sure if I want to do that gamble now....
 
These RAM issues are the exact (primary) reason why I am holding off on Ryzen. Not even building up a demo system for work until these issues get worked out. Got at least three people in a holding pattern who are wanting Ryzen systems. I just can't in good faith tell them to go with it right now.
 
My Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB 3000mhz C15 (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15B) worked fine out of the box. Haven't tried higher speeds than the default 2133mhz yet, though.
