Hey, i've got this card at 412/365 (see sig) right now and the only improvment i see is in 3dmark. Doom3 runs maybe .5 FPS faster. So what I'm wondering is, how safe am I at this speed? should I even bother o/c'ing since it seems I've hit the limit for my other hardware?

1gig ocz pc3500
i bet that other people have posted their results with an overclock similar to yours...
Did you flash the bios to get those shaders and everything?
and are you running that thing on stock cooling? thats what im planning on doing since the case should be nice and cool and the msi has ok stock cooling

gets me a whopping 42FPS
take it for what its worth, i find the timedemo "lies" as i regulary see 60fps and a steady 50s while actually in gameplay. yet another reason to read more of Brent's reviews and see whats what before you dive headfirst into a purchase
not to bad mouth you or anything, I'm just letting you know how my systems stacks up to yours.
EDIT: doh, didnt even really answer any questions there =S
i'd say that as long as the card has more room in it to OC and you feel comfortable doing it go for it, in all accounts except one that i can think of OCing higher(as long as the hardware can handle it) has never HURT performance. this system is plenty fast for me for what i play, not even Doom3 brings my box to its knees like i thought it would have. GL HF!
