It looks just like a retail card... so $500 for an ES card that may or may not be reliable or stable?

I have One of these ES cards, seems retail and was stable for a daily driver
 
I can see buying an old GPU for that price for collector reasons, but the Vega 64 wasn't exactly a legendary piece of engineering. Not like a Ti500, Voodoo or Radeon 9800 anyways.
