Just curious .. but can anybody confirm if an RX 5700 XT's backplate will fit right onto a non-XT 5700.. I would think it would ..but ...

I have a 5700 on it's way to me and the nerd in me would like to get a backplate on it. I could have just gotten the XT, but I game at 1080p and I like the lower power draw of the non-XT version

For 99% of users this card will not get hot enough to need the backplate unless you customize the fan curve for quieter operation. At 100% fan speed and 1.313v core the highest GPU temp I could get was 74°C from benchmarks (no longer torture testing though).

has anyone tried putting a ARCTIC Accelero Xtreme III on a 5700 XT ?
