RX 570 with only one port - DVI, so no freesync then?

I don't understand
there is a card I have - rx 570 with only one port DVI, no VGA, no HDMI, no DP
so no freesync then?
 
That was a mining card. And yes, Freesync will not work through DVI
 
possibility you might be able to trick it, but doubtful

570 is kind of weak for Freesync to shine. If all else fails, you can cap your frames at the lowest frame you might see in a game.. Buttery smooth that way
 
how to trick it?
freesync is supported inside, but just no hdmi port right?
 
You did buy a mining card, so I wouldn't expect freesync to work at all. I mean, I don't even think it has to be gaming stable to be a mining card IMO.
