RX 480 mining priority

I already have my video card mining Litecoin while at work and asleep. I would like to know if there is a way to prioritize GPU use like we can do with CPUs.
 
depending on your miner there are command line settings to set how much of the GPU you want to use in %. Many people drop it to 90% for cost/power/heat savings. You could also research optimal under-voltage/clocking settings for your specific card. There are also command line settings for complexity, split between Main Algorithm and secondary (pascal and whatnot), not to mention certain driver versions being better.

That is not part of my question. But to answer your request, I mine litecoin because the bitcoin network is too saturated for a RX 480 to effectively mine. To mine bitcoin effectively, you need to start with a few of the ASIC miners. I also have a R9 380 mining ethereum on my server.

I think what he was getting at is...why not mine Ethereum on your 480, too? Litecoin hasn't been profitable for GPU mining in quite some time.
