RV03 Watercooling

Has anyone tried a custom watercooling loop in a Silverstone RV-03 raven? I chose this case, because I didn't want the window on the right side of the case like the original ravens, but I did like the design and wanted to try it out. I also thought it would work well for watercooling because I had read many good reviews of the rv-01 and 02 and the ability to fit watercooling in them that I thought it would work just as well.

My issue is that even though there is 2 x 180mm fans in the bottom, it doesn't seem as if there is enough room to fit a 3 x 120mm raidator in there as there wouldn't be enough room for the place where the fittings are. Can anyone suggest a radiator, or am I stuck redesigning my system and putting a 2x120 in the front drive bays, in which I would likely run into the same space constraint due to the optical drive in the top bay.

My plan was for a 2 x 5 1/4 bay reservoir/pump combo, 360mm radiator on bottom, 120mm radiator on top all cooling a Xfx 7970 BE video card and a 2500k @ 4.6 Ghz (maybe more after the cooler is added) I may add another 7970 in the future when I go to a 3 x 27" monitor setup. But as I only have 1 monitor at the time I think this loop should suit me well.

I'd go with a 280mm radiator on the bottom with 2x140mm fans pulling air from the bottom of the case and a 120mm radiator on the back with a single or push/pull fans blowing air into case.

HWLabs Black Ice® GT Stealth radiators would work well.

Also Magic Cool has a Dual 180mm radiator which may fit in your bottom. If it fits it may be the best option. 1 Radiator will work out better for flow speed. 2 radiators not optimum for flow because of added restriction. The fins on the Magic Cool radiator are not as fine though so I don't think the fin design is as good as HWlabs stealth but the Magic Cool has the advantage of being a large radiator ito dissipate heat and it may work better. Also you could use the stock 180mm fans.

Keep your tubing length and bends as minimum as possible to keep your flow rate as high possible.

Should work out well.

Leave the top fan free to blow air out of the case and your small 120mm radiator on the back will benefit from having nice cool air from outside of the case pushing on it. (or push/pull).

My RV02 with 360mm on bottom and 120mm on top.

The RV02 has more space on bottom for radiator option configurations but I think the RV03 configuration that I have suggested will work better. The 120mm radiator on top isn't good place for it, just too much hot air going through the radiator there.

I have single Swiftech MCP655 pump and it works well for my loop configuration. Make sure your bay pumps have good flow to keep flow rate decent.

I'm not that happy with my loop configuration right now. I'm thinking about doing it over and just sticking a single HWLabs 420 in the bottom. That radiator will probably work better than my configuration.
