RV02, how many 3.5"?

Hi folks

I currently have an old case but it has 4 slots for hard drives, plus I have an adapter for 5.25 slot to fit my SSD in.

I'm looking at buying an RV02, but reading that it only has 3 x 3.5" slots.

Is there an adapter you can buy?

Nope, it only has room for 3 drives.

You can fit as many SSDs as you can duct tape/velcro though.

You should be able to put bay adapters in the 5 5.25" bays. Also, the new RV02-E revision allows for 5 3.5" drives in the HD bays instead of 3.

Something like this would allow for 4 more 3.5" drives in 3 5.25" bays.

Yeah the RV02-E which amazon and some places have now has the same interior as a FT02, so 5 3.5s and 1 SSD

the rv02 uses a cage that holdes 3x 3.5" hd's. you can purchase a second cage from silverstone to double up. it should be less then $20.

or you can mount directly to the 5.25" bays.

if you have a 2.5" SSD, the RV02 has an ssd mount on the side of the case. In stock form, it holds 1 2.5" + 3 3.5" drives + 5.25" bays.
