Several sources suggest that he offered to help drop a criminal investigation against an Internet entrepreneur with alleged connections to the pirate site Lib.rus.ec, in exchange for 50 million rubles.

Are there any uncorrupted people in American politics?

That's what I was thinking but I am really not in the mood for whataboutism. Saying politicians are corrupt is like saying water is wet.
