runProgramInGuest from esx host?

Is there a way to run a program in a guest from the esx host? Using vmrun is great, but its not on the host, using vim-cmd or something possible? Kinda looked through options and didn't see anything. Maybe should I try to get vmrun to run on the esx host?

Guess not. Tried to get vmrun to run on ESX host but thats a huge pain in the ass. So as stupid as it is I'll just have a system dedicated to running vmrun and any ESX host will just send it commands to send right back, lol.

Why do you need to do this?

Not really normal use case, automating testing of an esx driver. I need the esx host to manage itself to easily fit into current testing infrastructure.
