Running my DDR2 at 666 or 1066, any real difference?

I've got some decent OCZ Viper modules that are rated 5/5/5/15/22/2T @ 2.1V for 1066MHz. But it is also rated for 5/5/5/15/19/1T @ 1.8V for 666MHz.

It is totally stable at the faster speed. The 1066 is 5:4 ratio with my FSB, and the 666 is 2:1 (aka sync mode). But is there any real benefit to running it either way?

yeah there will be a difference.. but mostly in load times in games and loading applications like photoshop.. ram speed is more important then ram timing especially when going from 667 to 1066.. if your overclocking.. just set the multiplier to what ever will get you closest to 1066 when raising the FSB.. if your using an AMD black edition processor then just set it to 1066 and overclock the processor with the cpu multiplier..
