My timings are 2,3,3,7 IS anyone else running it at this speed and is it okay? I am OCing right now and I dunno I think it's speed is at 400 which is auto I can change it but dunno what it should be. 100% = 166
 
If its stable for you, then it is ok. You can't really damage your ram by running the timings too tight. But yeah those seem fine.
 
well i run my hyperx at 2-2-2-6 and its perfectly stable at stock voltage. but i am using pc-3200 at 166mhz. just make sure ur gettin enough voltage to it.
 
I just changed all my timings to match yours.

Is yours set at auto or what is your ram at? I have no idea what to run it at I got my timesing but I dunno what mhz?
 
I run my hyperx pc3500 at 7332 for 250fsb or over, and 6222 for lower than 250fsb. Works perfectly:)

So I should have my Ram at what Mhz? Does anyone know I mean I figure Barton + Hyper X there should be some sort of normal Mhz speed the ram should be at?
 
...but you're using a 5:4 divider, so you're not actually running at the top speed of the ram. Also, cow, tighten up your timings, and run memtest86 for ten passes and if you get no errors, tighten some more. P4's love tight timings to death.

For NF2 motherboards, 11.2.2.2 is a brilliant sweet spot. 11.2.3.2 and 11.3.3.2 are also good. Just keep the cas latency at 2 at all costs.
 
im running my hyperx @cas2 2-2-11 2.8volts been running that for a few months now. my ram has the winbond bh5 chips the new stuff comes with ch5 wich wont do low latencys but is fine to run 2.8 volts thru
 
I am running my Barton @ 2212Mhz at DDR 400, 7,3,3,2. I still have no idea what Mhz my Ram should be at. Since this is OCing better than when my multiplier was at 11 you think I should put it at 12.5?

Should I run it speed at the same as m fsb? And if not should it be high as it can go or around my fsb speed?
 
It's amusing to see that people are too busy posting their memory timings and not answering your questions. So I'll chime in. You should run your memory at the same speed as your FSB (1:1 FSB/DRAM ratio in bios) for maximal performance. If this means running pc3500 ram at 200mhz to hit that almighty AXP 3200+ speed do it. You'll most likely also have nice tight timings. That would be the easier path to the 3200+. You could also loosen the timings and go for maximum FSB with a lower multiplier. But to reiterate, yes running your memory at the same speed as your FSB (whatever speed that may be) is better.

Thanks a lot I do apreciate it. Yeah I had to make to ask same question in two other posts I made. I think it was runnin in the 400's before but now it's same as my fsb. I'ved noticed since I've OCed as simple as a program as it is AIM seems to be loading up slower when I restart my comp it's set to auto start. Any idea why this would be? I'm currently at 12.5 x 186 if anyones curious.
