Running 6800 for physics dedicated?

I have a 4890 in my system already and I picked up a 6800 pci-e for free from a friend. How do I go about running it dedicated in my system for physics only? Is it worthwhile?
 
Naw I'm a quad core phenom. Just wanted to keep the old hardware in the sig.

but sorry the 6800 is 2 generations old for PhysX.

and if there were being honest, they would recommended 64sp as being the lowest to use for physx. a 32sp 9500gt/8600gt will actually have a better chance of slowing the game down instead of helping it. heck even the 64sp 9600gt will be a poor physx card at lower resolutions in some games.
 
Should use a 9800GTX/GTS 250 or better for dedicated PhysX. A lesser card than that will drag down your FPS rather than help.
