right now im not running folding as a service. how do i change it to run as a service? thx

Or if you'd prefer do it the ol fashioned way, there is always this guide: http://www.hardfolding.com/index.php?go=4, step 3 in particular. You just then need go to Control Panle->Administrative Tools->Services and make sure the FA@C:+.... service is started.

Er..

Judging by the two replies above I must be missing something! But just in case I'm not...

Could you not just run the FAH client with the -config option and change the answer to the question "run as service" from no, to yes?

[edit] sorry, just realised that p[h]antom's suggestion is pretty similar to mine after all! :D - lol

Yeah you can do that :p Ah I love running it as a service, it's on my dad's computer, and he doesn't have to notice/deal with it (I got his permission, he just said he doesn't want it to mess anything up). Plus that means if it's on a computer that logs in, it runs even if not logged it :D
