Rumour: AMD RX 10090

Just saw this.

What happened is AMD has essentially quit stand alone GPU market

It is all now chiplet based & transformer based strategy. They are in a partnership with microsoft/xbox/windows

No idea how this will work out. 2 years is a long time but this is the plan

  1. 10090 — AT0 chiplet to be shared with xcloud processor of xbox cloud gaming (cut down versions could be used for gaming but will cost $$$$ )
  2. 10080 — AT1. This is scrapped as there is no need for Microsoft for such a GPU
  3. 10070 — AT2 / Magnus. This is the xbox series x2 console (replaces the 9070xt)
  4. 10050 — AT4 / medusa premium. This is entry level. Goes into handheld / z3e / xbox ally x2 etc. It also can potentially be a (third party OEM based) xbox series S2 that competes with valve steam cube/machine on both price & performance (this will replace the 6600 & 7600 GPUs)
  5. 10060 — AT3. Medusa halo. This will primarily be used for adge AI, NUCs, all-in-ones, tablets etc. Extremely premium devices — in the $2000 to $4000 range. (As a standalone GPU, this is supposed to replace the 9060xt)
