i just did a blowhole mod and i need some c-shaped rubber molding/trim to hide the rough edges. what are some reccomendations for this stuff? i went to auto zone and they only had this clear stuff. the cheaper the better, and if its online, low shipping charges would be ideal.

I used car door trimmer.

They had all type of color at Canadiantire.

2x 3feet for 3.99$ CND.

anyone know where one can get longer pieces from? I want to use some to outline my case window, and can only find the crap w/ teh locking strips etc which imho are junk, and I just want to attach the window to the back side of the case.

I used trim made from wire insulation:

Used the same trim around the window:

I make it by slicing one side of the insulation off with an exacto knife, when you pull out the wire you are left with a C shaped length of insulation. I glue it on from the inside.

BestByte.net is where I bought my c-strip a year or two ago, and I still have some left over. Cheap, and if I remember, the shipping is reasonable.

My advice is to get a dremel and put a sanding edge on it and go lightly over the edges and make sure you dont go to far over because u might scratch the case. once that is dont you just need a fan grill. it would look a lot nicer.

next time you cut somthing in your case wrap tape around the area you cut. the tape helps it from getting messed up edges
