Almost 30.000 people still playing The Witcher 3...I guess good games do last
PC gaming is an expanding market and will continue to grow pretty rapidly over the next few years. I think Intel is a threat, they have AMDs GPU guy now, and they look to be taking it seriously this time, I hope they are able to catch up to the state of the art.
I hope there is a 2080 ti Super or that existing ti prices come down. I do wish AMD had their own ultra high end card that would leapfrog the top end, it's been years now and AMD has let the top end stagnate. Even though I'm the target market for something like the ti, I think the value and excitement in the card isnt quite there.
It is hard to see Intel as a GPU threat in discrete cards. They are coming from so far behind, and I can't see Intel significantly undercutting the pricing. They will probably offer good package deal to OEMs in laptops though, so they could be a threat to the laptop discrete GPU business.
Um. Doesn't really change anything. Majority older games in that top 10, and some of the new ones aren't exactly crying out for a gaming rig to even play.

Yeah it does. The big five at the top are of course in their own league, but after that it changes a lot.
EVGA on Newegg:
Meh. Looking at Newegg at the 2060 Super cards, only 3 out of the 13 listed are $399... But I was not expecting many of them to be that price.
EDIT: Same thing for the 2070 Super, most of them are well North of the $499 price. Again, not shocked to be honest.
Sale on 2070 Asus Strix, 3 fan. $40 off 509 plus another $30 rebate card. $430 AR, so roughly equal to 2060Super AIB prices.
