Anybody set up a SSD with Intel rapid recovery to a slower platter just to back up their OS?
You could pick and choose when you want to backup the main drive.

One downfall I notice is if you do use RRT you cannot have another array on the Intel controller which sucks.

As SSD's continue to drop raid1 is viable just in case one of them barfs.
