Our network consists of two sites. We have a point to point T1 between the two sites and the internet traffic for both sites goes out on the dsl line at site 1.

Below is a rough drawing of what my network looks like:

Site 1 Site 2
------------------ -----------------
LAN1
|
DSL Internet----xincom-------cisco1721-------T1--------Cisco1721------Lan 2
| | |
10.10.0.254 10.10.0.250 10.10.1.250

I believe I need to setup a static route on the xincom router so it knows to route traffic for the 10.10.1.x subnet across the T1 via the cisco router at site 1. Could you guys verify that's what I need to do and also help me out with the exact entry I need to make in the xincom router config?

Here's a link to the usermanual page for the routing so you can better let me know what I need to do: http://www.xincom.com/support/twr_user_guide/Chapter_3/routing.html

Could you also explain if RIP enabled on there would help me at all?

Thanks.

EDIT: Sorry, that drawing doesn't look to good. The xincom is 10.10.0.254, the site1 cisco is 10.10.0.250 and the site2 cisco is 10.10.1.250
