I just connected my new router 2 days ago and I noticed my internet has gone down considerably. I opened up ports for bittorrent and games but those are the only changes ive made.

I ping up to 1100+ on halflife randomly on servers ive never lagged on before. Usually ping fluctuates from 20 to 1000+ back and forth back and forth its rather annoying... Can someone render me some assistance?!

Only 2 computers are connected to the router atm.
