I am taking a look at RouterOS products and I saw this AP

Is there a reason that those APs have 5 ports ? I presume you can put a lvl4 licence and use them as routers ?

All hardware running RouterOS can work as router. Software is similar in all RBs.
You get all features - VPNs, BGP and so on.
So yes, you can.

Get the 951 instead of the 751. Pretty much the same model with updated processor and memory and gigabit lan.

To answer your question, yes you can use any of the routerboard products as router, vpn etc. As long as you have a l4 licence or higher. L3 cant act as an ap.

I just tryed the GUI demo on their website and it is pretty neat !

They are the same price so, ill take a 951
