Router Recommendations For Parents?

Mixed Windows, Linux, Apple household. No gaming just general computing. Any suggestions for a nice router in the $75-$100 range?

Tl-WDR3600 or TL-WDR4300 running a recent version of OpenWRT, these are very stable and will do well over 200+ days just fine. These are what most of my SMB uses as routers/firewalls/VPN-gateways.

What do you guys think of the TP Archers? Couple different models, all look attractive for the feature set / price...

If you want something that just works (tm), go for the WDR3600 or WDR4300. The 11ac driver (ath10k) is nowhere near as stable as ath9k but you can always get the Archer C5v2 or C7 and only use 2.4Ghz.
