I recently purchased an Asus RT-AC66U and started having some interesting issues once I got it setup. When I click a web link or a bookmark, the page immediately goes to the "This webpage is not available" screen in Chrome. Sometimes, Chrome shows the "Oops..." window. As soon as I hit the reload or refresh button (sometimes twice required), the site loads fast and perfectly.

This problem persists regardless of wired or wireless connection. I haven't noticed any issue with the 5G connections, just the 2.4GHz. The channel I'm using isn't being used by any other in the area and I set the bandwidth to 20GHZ. I haven't tested this in any other web browser; however, the problem occurs on the PS4 as well. Any ideas?

If more info is required, please let me know the kind of information needed and I'll provide as soon as possible.

Any help is appreciated.
 
Does it happen in other browsers besides chrome? Please test it also have you changed DNS?
 
From initial testing, the problem only occurs in Chrome. Also, it happens on all computers on the network. That doesn't explain why the PS4 has issues.

I'll change the DNS when I get home and see what happens.
 
Well, I just tried using the OpenDNS servers and the problem persisted. I'll try deleting / re-installing Chrome later to see what happens.
