I have a Linksys WRT54GL v1.1.
A while back, lightning struck a nearby house/tree/something. It destroyed the modem and the network adapter in my PC. I have a new modem and a new network adapter and have been running without the router for a while without any issues.
I can connect to the router and change settings, etc. as long as I don't plug in to Port #1 (which is what my PC was plugged in to when the lightning struck).
My assumption is that the lightning strike messed up the internet jack on the router, as well as the Port #1 jack.
So my question is...any chance I can salvage this router or should I just get a new one?
