Hey guys, I am really at a loss here. My router, the Linksys WRT54G dropping connections (or at least I think it's the router) I have an Orinoco Gold wireless card that I am using to connect with. I was running Netstumbler the other day and I was getting like a 95% signal, whick is great, but every once in a while, I lose the connction, and I can't get to the network. I will go to check the connectivity, and I see the icon with the red "X" on it. So I went into the SP2 wireless config tool, and I double-click on my wireless network, and I get the dialog box saying this:

"Are you sure you want to disconnect from this network.....blah....blah"

WTF? I am not connected but it thinks I am. This is really getting annoying, and I am at my wit's end. if anyone knows what to do, or has a suggestion, please help me! Oh, and bump me too, please! Thanks fo looking!

you probably need a new router.
sub 100 dollar routers seem to always break within 2 years

I have found the problem. My wireless card is crapping out on me. I am now in the market for a good long-range wireless card. :p
