router dead?

i had to reset the router(liniksys WRT54G)
after that when I went into 192.168.... I get a website that says
"firmware upgrade management"
so I download the firmware(from linksys) and run it, it says upgrade successful but when I go back to 192, it still gives me the same firmware upgrade page
tried couple of time, still giving me the same webpage
I reseted the router after upgrade as it says on linksys's FAQ
 
Try their TFPT push utility instead of the web browser method.

You were trying with IE right? Can't do it with alternative browsers. (well..shouldn't)
