Rotate display function on ATI hardware

I am planning to build a media center PC with AMD 780G chipset which has HD 3200 GPU.

Last time I had an ATI card it was year 2000, so I will be happy if you can help me with a question I got about ATI card and Catalyst Software.

I need to know if it is possible to do a [Rotate Display] on these cards.
In Nvidia control panel it is a standard, but after doing a search in Google it seems that ATI cards have problem rotating the display.

It is absolutely critical for me to be able to rotate the screen/display 90 degrees and keep this setting permanently.

Not hard, I do it at work permanently through Catalyst Control Center.

CCC has a setting for that somewhere

I remember messing around with it and rotating display by 90 degrees. Took me a while to get it back to the original setting since my monitor can't rotate 90 degrees and I had to figure out the new orientation of the mouse.

There is in option in the 'Displays Manager' section of the CCC settings, as well as a quick option when the icon is right-clicked upon in the system tray.

I have a ViewSonic VP930b, and rotate the image via the Catalyst software just fine.
