i remember hearing that rosewill had that black PSU back a few months ago that was a pretty good rebadge...My liberty 400w is having problems with my DFI mobo so i need to change it out. This rosewill PSU caught my eye:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817182029

It will match my red SFF theme in my case, and it looks pretty beefy too. But rosewill? Anyone know if this is another good rebadge or a pos?

Well I can't completely make out the UL number but the regular RP500 carries the number e186010 which means it is still a ATNG product. I would guess it could be the same UL on the one you linked. If so I would pass.

Isnt the RP500 a 500w unit? this is a 550, i know its not a big diff but it could be a diff model....can you tell by looking inside from the honeycomb in the back? Where is the UL, maybe i can dig up better pics and get it?

Sorry it was the RP550 not the RP500. Yes they are different models lines but I find a number of Rosewill PSU's have been ATNG.

It is under the UR symbol on the PSU sticker. It will be structured like the one above...with an e then a number. If you can find it will tell us who made it.

I have no idea, but from what I can see on the Newegg pics, those heatsinks don't look too promising...
