im going to buy an ati radeon x800xl; and rosewill is the cheapest one at newegg. am i better off going with a saphire one for $30 more?
 
i think the rosewill ones are just rebadged bbati's with a less robust retail feature package

i thought saphire ones were rebaged ati cards. i really odnt care for the retail package though

You know... the ones with the silver minotaurs on the packaging and crap.

Anyways, I picked up the same X800XL you're looking to get a week or two ago and it's been working great.
The HSF isn't all that though, and I'm looking to replace it with the ATI Silencer 5 soon so I can OC it better.
It runs great though, 4700 on 3DMark05 on stock settings, OC'd it to 5000+ a few times.
The only time I've seen it actually seen it hiccup in a game below 60fps was in Far Cry for some reason (for those that played it, it was the Re-something level lol.... the beginning of it in that tunnel lagged the hell outta me until I got outside for some reason). :confused:

In any case... good card, great price for a X800XL.
