Roger Wilco but better quality?

I've been using Roger Wilco lately for sake of saving money on phone bill and gaming. My question is, Is there anything out there with better quality? I can understand back in the day when everyone was on dialup and upload speeds were capped at 128k that the quality be what it is. But now I have a meg upstream and am wondering what else is out there?

Can anyone recommend any good software similar to Roger Wilco with better quality?

Teamspeak is the most popular one, but i believe ventrillo has better sound quality.
