There is a review of the ROCCAT Kulo 7.1 USB headset posted at Overclockers Club today. Aside from the high price, the reviewer seemed rather impressed with this headset.

Clearly designed with gaming in mind, the Kulo headset hits its mark here. Running through several levels of both Left for Dead 2 and Borderlands with a few friends proved to be an easy task. Not only could I hear that sneaky hunter creeping up behind me but my friends could hear me perfectly through the microphone.

While we are on the subject, you might want to take a look through our headset reviews here. We've evaluated a wide variety of headsets from manufacturers like Creative, Corsair, Astro, Psyko, Audio-Technica, Thermaltake, Arctic and more.
 
I really would've thought twice about the name if I were them, "Kulo" sounds like "Culo" which means "Ass" in Spanish.

So imagine a Spanish conversation going on like: "Hey man, I bought myself some ass headphones and they're awsome, I could hear their asses creeping behind me through my ass" :D
 
Still trying to figure out why its still so [H]ard to get reviews on quality brands/builds of Audio/Headsets. The Audio/Headset review section at HardOCP is really poor.

Would love to see other better quality brands, like Sennheiser at least, put to the test. For instance Sennheiser has some decent Audiophile/Gamerphile headsets, which really do not deserve to be ignored.

I was hoping that HardOCP would finally differentiate a bit from other sites that almost always only review generic headsets made in Crapina, wrapped around different packaging and "Kulo" branding.
 
So this headset is for pussies? I am confused and slightly aroused.
 
After having a Roccat 5.1 Kave, I'd never buy another one of their headsets, its very expensive and it's heavy and the build quality isn't up to par with what I'd expect from a headset that is that pricey.

Prefer my Corsair headset over theirs.

Lol. This is true. Yo, listen to how this shit sounds like through my kulo! Too funny.
 
So when you put the headset on, you have your head up your kulo. When you're using voice comms, you're talking out of your kulo... :D:eek:
 
That's cool... And a funny name too. Any chance you guys can get a review of SteelSeries' Siberia headsets? Anything from Grados would be awesome too. Heck, I've tried the Nokia BH-905i and hot damn you guys should try that beast out.
