He was folding for OCAU before coming over here, so it's possible he's located there or somewhere else that's experiencing hot weather. I'd hate to see what kind of heat all those GPUs produce at his place in the summer.

What the hell does seti@home have to do with breaking a fictitous Hollywood movie creation's code Hey, I hate to break it ya', but ET was just a cartoon character in a movie and not the real thing. Ask one of the "old time" seti people if you don't believe me. Next you'll be tellin' me that DCing polutes the air and gives Santa Clause's raindeer asthma. (it must be rough on the raindeer with the red nose )

I'm really sorry if I upset your beliefs, but I was just making fun of some of the assinine things that some people say to discourage new people from joining in on DCing.

Very very strange to see the word "protection" in the folding forums. Even stranger, I have a similar message in my PM box from a while back, different author but pretty much the same words.

If it is said one needs "protection" it can only be assumed that one might be under some sort of threat.

Seven years here at this forum, never have I seen such bullshit, not even in the soapbox but certainly never ever here in the "friendly" folding forum., or is that fascist folding forum.
