You can't stop the ROC! I dont have any stats to back it up, but that has got to be the fastest to 1 million by a long shot. Congrats!

I recieved a nice parcel today..... 20x 9800gx2

I will have them running within a week hopefully........ more pics later

I'd estimate a conservative 220k PPD with my setup

Holy crap! And the greif we gave Sunin about that power outage seems trvial compared this wattage in AssM@N's cottage! Not to mention the heat.

At least he'll be mowing so fast no one will notice. Stealth mowing anyone? Or would it be Supersonic mowing?

Sunin was talking about $4-500 a month. I would think more.

And the heat from that farm! Bet he never turns on the furnace in winter....

Rough calculations
At ~200 watts per 9800GX2, 20x ~200 will be around 4 kW just for 9800GX2's.
Now add the hardware to run it.
I'm thinking 4.5 kW min, probably closer to 5 kW jusrt for the 9800's
Now add 30x 8800's at ~75-100 watts per card. Depends on support hardware
Thats around 2.5-3 kW.
Total farm draw around 7-8 kW ................. :eek:
But you may hit 250,000 PpD.

How close am I to being correct ??????

Thats a lot of heat to move.

Would that not be up to 192 kWh per 24 hours?
5760 kWh per month
Electricity here is on average US$ 0.105 per kWh
It would cost me US$ 604.8 per month. Give or take a dollar or 2.

At 250k PPD it gives ~413 points per dollar.

The heat would be enough to power my 48 story condo building.... :eek:

Which MoBo-CPU combo are you going to be useing and how many per board ??

XP or Vista ??
I never got Vista to work with more than 2.5x 9800GX2 cards, 5 clients, out of the 4x 9800GX2's in the system.

Yeah, I second that Leganfuh, while all our members may not be the "slickest door knobs on the block" (myself included) we certainly are some of the [H]ardest folders in the world. (plus we're #1) Come join us, you're always welcome.:D

Oh yeah, you guys and gals at OCAU ain't exactly "push overs" either ;). Thanks for keepin' us on our keyboards (err...., I mean toes :rolleyes:)
