This project tends to be difficult to get much work right now. They also have not been crediting work units for several months. I contacted Michael H.W. Weber about it with this PM:
And this was his response:
Being that I only speak English, it is hard for me to effectively read all of the forum posts here. Also, it may be buried in a thread that has a completely different topic. Anyways, is there an estimation when points will begin to be awarded again? It has been months now and I was just curious as to the hold up.

And this was his response:
Yes - we have been working exclusively on the very long WUs for quite a while now to make our checkpointing system work properly and to solve some other issues. To avoid another validation run of these WUs which would only increase 'lack of WUs annoyance' of our contributers, I have decided that we will inspect the results manually and then grant credits accordingly. So, I think I need to apologize that all this is taking us so long.
As a matter of fact, a number of things are happening behind the scenes - most importantly we still need to do a lot of work on our results database which is intended to present all what we have in an OpenData format. Additionally, a lab is in the setup phase (soon completed!) to allow for experimental validation of some RNA World results. Moreover, our server is now working on completely new hardware in this new lab facility. I probably should have better communicated some of these things on our website to make people understand that we are working hard on further improving this project. It is progressing well. And there will of course be new WUs, too.
Best,
Michael.
