I bought a Microsoft MCE 2005 remote from Zip Zoom Fly about 2-3 months ago and a few days ago it died on me. I looked on Zip Zoom Fly's website and it said they only do RMA for the first month. So I was looking for info about going through Micrsoft but couldn't find any. Could someone please help me. :(

call their customer support and tell them what happened, they will give u a # to call or help u

just had the strangest thought.. saw the microsoft and rma.... I wonder what would happen if everyone rma'd their copy of XP back to microsoft saying it doesnt work right.

where do I come up with this??? must be old age :)

Don't worry, I thought the same thing when I first saw it. I'm sure we could con a few people into trying it...

You would get a simple response stating that it's not the operating system that's malfunctioning rather the third party hardware or poorly written third party software.

Ive spotted the problem

this remote
its not real,

if it was a real remote
it wouldnt be "software"

:p

relocated to general hardware
