hello i have a 9800npbbati that is having video corruption in the bios and in windows. so i am going to rma it but i have put on a different hsf. so will they repair it or refuse to.and where can i get the original hsf becouse i have lost the old one. thanks

You can't *legitmately* RMA card that you've altered/modded/overclocked. Take the cooler you put on back off and put the stock one back on.

you can't

id say you need to re-attach the new heatsink you put on there and make sure to use enough thermal paste.

rma'ing now is completely unacceptable since you caused the damage to the card.

...put up a wtb thread in the sale section for a 9800np bbati hsf....you should get a couple bites.

might find one on ebay I aint selling mine for that reason I know exactly where it is:D just in case. Just so you know the pro and the np have the same heatsink at least the ATI's do. I put on my old blue orb from my gf2 and it works great just make sure you have enough contact and as5

What u're doing is unethical ... dont rip off ATI, ultimately the costs'll get passed onto the customers :p
