hey,
ive heard of lots of people using riva tuner and i decided to try it out myself. however im lost and dont know where to even begin.
any sort of help would be great

just anything on how to get started with the program.
specifically more in the overclocking department.

Well if you wanna overclock use the "Main" tab and under Driver Settings is a little arrow to the right of the box that says "Forceware Detected". Click on that and small icons will appear to the right, click on the video card icon. You are now in the overclocking area. Check the "Enable driver-level hardware overclocking" box and use the drop down box beside it to list "Performance 3D", now you are ready to overclock your card(s). Click "Apply overclocking at Windows startup" and should be all set.

hmmm..
im under the main tab and i see "driver settings" but i dont see anything that says forceware detected or any little arrow the the right.
oh and by the way, im using ver. 2.0 release candidate 15.7

Hmmmm.....What is showing under your Main tab?

under my main tab theres an option to chose which monitor to run
under that theres an options that says
"no additional information available" and next to that theres a button that lets me chose various settings for my monitor.

then under that is driver settings
it says that "catalyst 5.5 is detected"

then under that it just lists a bunch of files and descriptions relating to the video card driver.
